My H1B will expire in May 2003.
Not long ago I got an approval of my Green Card application and applied for Adjustment of Status and Employment Authorization. I did not apply for Advanced Parole. Yesterday I received an EAD card. I’m not going to use it in the nearest future since I’m not going to leave my current employer for who I’m working on H1B. My lawyer told me that it was absolutely legal to work, travel abroad and reentry to USA using H1B despite I got EAD card now. Is he right or not?
I’m going to leave the USA for 2 weeks in July. Would they let me into the USA if I show them my H1B stamp?
