That's no problem. She would remain in legal status as long as you filed her petition any time before the expiration of finance visa.Immihelp Support

My Girlfriend entered the US on a Fiance Visa. We were married and immeadiately filed for Conditional Perment Residence and Advance Pparole. She recieved the Advance Parole form 512L approved. Since we filed after we were married the 512L is in her married name but her passport is still in her maiden name. When we return in a few months will a copy of the Marriage Certificate showing her maiden name and married name be sufficient with her passport and form 512L(it has her picture). It takes along time in the Philippines to get a new passport with her married name. ThanksImmihelp Support
