Hello,
I would appreciate if you clarify a couple of my queries on the following issue :
Me and my wife received our EADs and the Advance Parole by 10th Dec,2001
i.e.within 20-25 days of losing my current job on Nov. 18,2001. This
Employer will not submit a request for withdrawal for at least three months
(Feb 18,2002) and is ready to release the Labor
Certification and priority date to my new employer provided I obtain a
position in the same geographic area, performing the same basic job
functions, and with a salary at least matching that of the one listed on my
permanent residency petition.
To keep my status legal in this country I have also filed for another Visa
from another company which is in a different geographical location.
Receive Date of I-485, I-765, I-131 : Aug 21,2001
Notice Date of the same: Sept 21, 2001
1. What significance does this EAD and Advance Parole hold for me and my
wife in current situation? My wife is currently on H-4 Visa.
2. Also, can i change my address during this process?
3. If my wife wishes to work/study , can she do so on EAD or will have to
file for H-1/F-1?
4. What would be the situation if I complete 180 days( Feb 21,2002) of
filing of I-485 in current situation?
