I applied for my I485 along with AP with the intention of taking my EAD. But after I got the I485 receipt I decided not to apply for EAD. I have a multiple H1 which is valid until 2002. My wife is on H4 ( valid until 2002) has an AP( AP expires in Dec 2000, no EAD) and is in India currently.
My questions are:
1) Can my wife just use H4 and I485 receipt (ignoring AP ) when she comes back to USA?
2) My wife intends to stay in India until Feb 2001. What happens if she comes back after AP expires or does she have to come back before AP expires to renew it and then go
back??
3) I am planning to travel to India in Dec 2000, and come
back on my multiple H1. Will I have a problem because
I applied for AP??
Any help with these questions would be very much appreciated.
