EAD and divorce

If a person is on H1 b with a validity until 2009 and has received a EAD based on spouse's employment , then is it wise to use that EAD , incase the person considers to go for divorce?

Nope, not safe

If you're divorcing the person through whom you got your EAD then it won't help you.

You need to have your own status cleared without attachment.
