I have an AP receipt. RD 5/31 ND 8/22
When I listen to the voice mail.. it sounds like RD is 8/22.
Do I qualify for the 30 day thingie with my AP receipt?
I heard that I can only get AP from local INS office if I have a dire emergency, something like parents or close relative being very sick.
I need to go back home immediately, but no one is sick and I hate to lie about it. Can I just go to local INS and tell them that I was supposed to get my AP long time ago, and I haven't so I need one from them now?? Is that going to work??
One more thing: I also heard that the AP issued from TSC is different from AP issued at local INS. I heard that the one from TSC is somewhat better. I don't know.. maybe ppl, both who used local and TSC AP, may share their experiences. Thank you all.
