No EAD yet - Receipt Date 2nd July'07

Myself & my wife filed our I485 at Texas service Center on 2nd July'07. We are on H1B & H4 respectively.Our notice date is 20th Aug'07 and our cheques got encashed at the same time.
I got my EAD in the last week of Aug whereas my wife has still not got her EAD. I needed to know what is it I should be doing now. USCIS just says it takes atleast 90 days to process , the count starts from receipt date or notice date ?
Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

waiting for EAD for past 80 days.......plz help me

Hi

I am facing a very difficult situation right now. I am on L2 and applied for EAD in July. I got a receipt from USCIS stating that they received my case on 26th july and will be processing my application. But since then I didnt hear anything from them. Its around 80 days now and my EAD is still pending with no further notice of action. I didnt even get a notice for biometrics as some other people r getting.
I went for several interviews and have got a job where the employer wants me to join till 20th oct 2007. But i have to produce my EAD within 3 days of joining otherwise I'll have to let go the offer.
Its a depressing phase for me as its hampering my career I dont know what to do. The customer care says ...wait for a months time....but i dont have so much time....
Plz plz help me friends.....its getting so frustrating for me now..
