AOS filed, losing H1B status

AOS filed, losing H1B status

I am on H1B filed for AOS but do not have yet the receipt notice. If I lose my H1B status, how long will I stay legal in the US? Am I "saved" with the filing of AOS? thanks.

Yes. Once you receipt the AOS receipt notice, your status is "pending" in the USA. You can not travel or work though until you receive your AP and EAD (if you lose the H1B status)
