AP filing question for gurus
I am applying for my AP (third AP) based on pending employment based I-485.
Heres my case details:
I am on AOS from the past 4 years. (485 filed in 2003, priority date Sept 2001)
My I485 is pending at Texas Service Center. (transferred from VSC in Apr 2007)
My company is based in New Jersey. I am living in California.
According to the new filing rules (effective from July 2007) it seems like I have to file I-131 at Nebraska SC because I live in California. However, my 485 is pending at Texas SC.
I am really confused, where to file my AP? I thought we need to file AP at the same SC where 485 is pending, am i right? Please help!!!!
