  • USC trying to help Immigrant spouse...

Hi Everyone-- I watch my spouse read these postings and have some questions of my own. Sorry for the length...

At the InfoPass, is it possible for me to attend and ask a few questions? I've tried calling customer service and they seem like they're scripted to answer specific questions only.

Here's the deal. Every step of our family-based petition has been 'lost' in the system.

One letter specifically asked for my alien registration number. Since I am born and reared in the USA, I do not have an alien registration number. It took countless letters from the Senators' offices to learn it was a mistake. This mistake worried me.

Our I-130 from two years ago has been transferred from one center to the next. So, we applied again this summer.

At the last InfoPass, the immigration officer mentioned he called NBC and that they had my husband's file in their hands and that we should be getting the EAD in 10 days.

    My questions:

-Is our file complete? If not, what is missing?
-Double check information on sponser...citizenship is through birth not naturalization. Is the info correct?
