H1B to EAD

I have a permanent job on H1 and am taking up a part time consulting job using my EAD. What would I need to do make USCIS aware that I want to start using EAD for my current full time job as well. Based on some of the threads it seems like I cannot be on H1B in one job and EAD on the other. As I am already in my 7th year I don't see any benefit to keep H1B.

You can have multiple jobs on your EAD, just have your employer file a form I-9. That is all you need to do.
