I am on L2 visa (husband's L1 is on blanket petition) and it expires on Dec 31st, 2007. My husband's company attorney has filed for extension on a new individual petition and we have receipt for the same.
My current I-94 is valid only till Dec 31st, 2007. The attorney says that since the application to renew the visa has been filed, we can continue our stay in the US.
Based on the application to renew the visa (and petition), am I eligible to apply for EAD? If yes, is it better to apply via post or online? Alongwith the I-94 do I submit the copy of renewal application as supporting document?
