Traveling on Advance Parole

My wife is from China.We were married on Dec 8,2006.I have started a 1-485 form for her and her son.Her mother is 88 years old and is not doing very good health wise.My question is,is there a way she could travel to China to see her mother before she receives her green card.If you would have any information our know someone who would I would appreciate it.

That depends upon what her legal status is.

If she is not in H/L status (which is most likely the case), she needs to apply for Advance Parole before traveling outside US.
