My I-140 was sent to the USCIS in February 2007, I-485 sent in June 2007 (still pending, according to the USCIS website). EAD and AP got approved in late August. However, the AP documents were lost in the mail. I did not know about it until late November. I had to re-apply for new AP at the beginning of December. I checked the case status online this time and found out my case was denied. The USCIS denial letter should have been sent on 12/12. It has been almost 10 days and I have not yet received the letter. I have no idea about the reasons for denial.
Does anyone has the similar experience -- approved AP got lost in mail and second application denied?
Right now, I need to travel in less than two months. What should I do? Thanks in advance for all the ideas.
