I went for finger print for my EAD renewal. For identity they just wanted to see the passport, they did not want to see state ID and even they let a lady go as she just brought her driving licence. So if you are going for your finger print do take your passport and make sure that your finger tips don't have any scar or cut mark on them as they can not do finger print if you have cuts or something like that.
