Hello all.
My EAD expired some time ago and i had to leave my job because of that. The recipet date was on SEP 21, 2007 and as of today the 90 day period has been passed. I thought that i could recieve a temporary EAD if i make an appointment with INFOPASS and go to the local office in NYC. Now my appointment is tomorrow and i just called USCIS and the lady on the phone confused me and said that the local offices do not give out temp EAD's anymore and all i will basically be doing is just asking them to ask the TEXAS SERVICE CENTER to expedite my case. Now i told her that i sent them proofs that i have an employer who has offered me a job in November but i never recieved any response. Please tell me that i have a chance of getting a temp EAD tomorrow. I so need this job now. Have been laid off for 3 months now and i got a family to support. Please help me out.
