EAD denied

My I-765 was denied (based on my admission to the united states as a K1 because finace visa expires after 90 days) . I intended to apply for an EAD based on I 485 but I think the way we filed the cases was incorrect. I did file for an EAD before I 485 receiving the receipt. We should have done both of the cases together.

My I 485 is pending right now. My question is: Now, do I file for a motion to
re-open as suggested by the denial letter I received or just apply for another EAD based on a pending I 485 with the notice of action I797C.

Please help.

Reapply for EAD based on the receipt for the I-485.

EAD denied

I already applied for a motion to re-open as suggested by th USCIS office (INFO pass appointment).

But I think that was a bad decision since motion to reopen takes a lot longer.

Can I now re-apply for EAD with receipt for I-485 eventhough I have submitted an application for motion to re-open.

Please help.
