Work on EAD & H1B at the same time!

Hi,
I would need your expert suggestions to know if this following scenario is possible. I am currently working on H1B status since last year (1st 3 yrs valid till 2010). Recently, I have got EAD & AP thru my Husband's GC.
Currently, I have project A thru my current employer on H1B. But I do have a good offer to work on EAD for project B through a different employer.

Here is what I need your expert help to make decision.
1) While working on Project A on H1 can I also work on Project B on EAD?
(That means can I continue to work on H1B with my current employer for Project A and also work on Project B on EAD?)

2) When I fill I-9 form for Project B on EAD, I will be in AoS status. Does it mean that my H1B status will be invalid?
(Remember I still plan to work for my current employer on H1B for project A.)

3) Is there anyway to maintain my H1B status while also working on EAD?
Since the 485 is still pending, I do not want to risk my H1B status.

4) If the above all is not possible, can I work for my current employer on EAD for project A and also for other employer on Project B at the same time?

Yes, but H1 ceases.
