Hi
My wife and I were married a few years ago. We have done all the necessary 485 paperwork and had meetings and awaiting our final meeting next year, which we have already received a date for. We have previously applied for the proper travel docs. We received 2 copies of an original document. We traveled outside of the country twice for vacations. Each time, we brought the advance parole docs with us to travel and one copy was taken upon reentry to the US. I just want to confirm that we have to apply again, and pay the fee again, to receive two more docs that will allow her to again return from abroad, two more times..
from reading your website, i thought perhaps :
1) one application for advance parole was good enough for all the time your 485 is valid.... so there would be no need to apply again (although we don't have the papers for reentry, perhaps our current a# or other paperwork would suffice)
or
2) just the other paperwork would suffice in any case... as we have all our paperwork in order, and the spouse of a citizen doesn't need advance parole
.
can you please advise.
thank you.
