H1 B expiring - Need to travel out on EAD Card??

Hi,

My status is such -

H1 B 8th year expiring in one month on 3/16/08
H1B 9th year application filed
Have approved Parole document and EAD
Need to travel to Canada and no appointments available for stamping of H1.

Can I come back on AP and when my renewal of H1 gets approved in a few months, go back to Canada and get stamping done at that time in order to come back on H1B status.

Is there any risk involved? Please respond with your expert comments.
