H1 and EAD

Can i do the following:

1) continue work with my sponsored employer (part time or full time) on H1 status AND

2) work either part time or full time with Second Employer on EAD

so that i can my sponsored employer always run my payroll and i can issue 1099 with my second employer.

please clarify

If you use EAD your H1 status is terminated.
