Hi,
I am currently on L2 visa and I had applied for EAD on the 30th of Oct 2007. Today I received a denial notice stating my application was denied because I had not complied with the request for biometrics from USCIS. but the fact is that I have not received any letter from USCIS requesting for my fringerprinting.
Many people suggested that I re- apply for EAD. I have another concern now.
I was trying to fill up the I-765 again and I noticed a section in the form asking if I had applied for EAD anytime previously and the status of that application. However, I am not being asked for the previous receipt # or the reason for denial. So, how will they know why my application was denied? Do I need to mail the previous denial notice as a supporting document? Has anyone else been in a similar situation?
