I am on L2 visa which expires on April 24 2008 and as well as an EAD expiring on April 24,2008.
My husbands company has applied for L1/L2 extension January 22,2008 and is in pending status with USCIS.
I had to wait for the Receipt notice of L2 Extension as EAD is based on my visa and applied for EAD renewal on Feb 12,2008 and is in pending with USCIS and gor receipt notices for all the above.
I am currently working and i couldn't apply within that 90 days period as i had to wait for the L2 receipt notice.
1.Can i work after April 24,2008 if i dont get my renewal EAD?
2.Is there any way i can show some proof that i have applied for EAD and work after April24,2008?
3.Please tell me someway in which i can speed up the process?
4.What if they delay the visa extension process and so my EAD?
    Please help me out guys!!!!!!!!

    1.- No.
    2.- No.
3.- Make an infopass appointment and plead with an IO to send a request to NBC to expedite the process.
4.- Then it is delayed and you should not work until it is approved.

      Thanks for your prompt reply.
1.Do i have to make appointment at nearest USCIS office or any specific office?
2.Please let me know when it would be better to fix the appointment like how many days before my EAD expiry date?
      Thanks is advance.
