EAD for Part Time work

Hi,
My 485 and I-140 applied during last year July, and I got my EAD by Nov 07, So here is my question, Can I use this EAD to work for another employer on a part time assignment and use regular H1-B for my regular project ? I am not planning to quit my employer but still want to do part time work.

Now I am confused, I checked with 4 lawyers. 2 of them telling I can work and other two are telling if I use EAD for part time project it will invalidate my H1. Even in this forum I got 50-50 answer for YES and NO...

... in that case try talking to USCIS directly or go through the documents to see if you can find the written law that clearly indicates either of the option.

Else, you may consider either not taking the part time job or take the risk.

I would be comfortable if there was a written indication from USCIS or a senior attorney.

There are quite a few gray areas which are not defined well.
