I M ON H1 FOR THE PAST 6 YRS.I HAVE MY I 140 APPROVED & HAVE APPLIED FOR MY H1 RENEWAL.I DONT HAVE H1 STAMPED ON MY PASSPORT AS I NEVER LEFT USA.I HAD INITIALLY COME ON B1/B2 & CHANGED MY STATUS TO H1.I M PLANNING 2 GO TO INDIA USING MY AP.I LL COME BACK BFORE MY CURRENT H1 EXPIRES.WHEN I COME BACK ON AP,WHAT WILL BE MY STATUS.WILL MY H1 END.FOR SOME REASON I DONT WANT 2 GO FOR STAMPING IN INDIA.IS IT RISKY 2 GO ON AP.I VE NEVER BEEN OUT OF STATUS IN USA.PLEASE HELP.

Please don't type in all caps, the online equivalent of screaming. If you return on AP, you are a parolee and not on H1b and are required to use EAD. There are means to get back on H1 by filing for an extension at the end of the approval that would put someone back on H1. However, some service centers of USCIS have not been consistent with their approach to such cases.
If you have never been out of status, what is stopping you from getting a stamp?
