    Hi

    My I 94 is gone for renewal and my ead for l2 visa is expiring on july end.. i have to join a new job... today...

    1.should i take up the job...
    2. when can i renew the ead
    3 during the renewal can i work or i have to loose my job
    4. how many days it takes for renewal of ead

    i am totally worried... please suggest what i do

    1. You should or not is your choice. You can with the employer being informed that your EAD expires soon and you may have to temporarily quit until the renewal EAD is approved.
    2. After the L2 is renewed. L1/L2 renewal could be applied 6 months before the expiration. Better planning should have happened.
    3. You cannot work for a single day without the EAD. Many companies remove you from the payroll as well as going on LOA also is not correct as per the HR books and the law without authorization to work.
    4. 90 days is what USCIS says. 60-90 is usual timeframe.

        On what basis should USCIS accept that application? Your L2 status renewal is a requirement for EAD.
