I94 on AP

Dear Sir,

This may be a simple question but I could not find the answer anywhere...

My wife will be using her AP while she is returning after visiting India.

Q1. Does she need to fill I-94 form in the port of entry? if yes, how long the validity will be given,as you know AP is not more than a year valid? and how does she re-new it?

Q2. If no I-94, what form does she need to fill?

A1 - Yes. Fill out I-94, it will be valid for 1 year. Her I-485 should be approved within the year.
A2 - I-94.

Just a clarification to make sure I understand it correctly...

Do you mean to say that her I-485 will be approved with a year from the time of her filing?
Is it because, she does not have any I140 and her AOS is based on my 485?

My 1st Hand Experience with Entering on AP

HI

I have an ED/AP expiring 2nd Wk of Oct08. I recently had to travel on business to South America and was coming back via EWR.
Once you arrive - you would be escorted to a different room where everyone who has an issue with entering at POE is waiting. There were 2 CBP officers. After waiting for 2 hrs, finally my turn came - my passport was already stamped by the CBP officer by the time I reached the window. He asked me just one question - whether my AOS is due to EB or FB and gave me my AP stamped now - VALID for one year from the date of entry so now valid till May 09.
