EAD-AP renewal

Dear Seniors,

I and my wife are having EAD and AP pending my I140. My wife will be using her EAD soon and aso will be using her AP while she return from India on July.

Our EAD expires on 10/14/2008 and AP on Dec'2008.

Q1. Can I apply for EAD/AP re-newal for both of us now and go India? Or should we be in USA during the re-newal time?

Q2. Is there any minimum time to wait before I should not apply for re-newal? Or any time, I wish?

1. you can apply now and travel. Can do it only 120 days prior to expiration.
