Travel after applying for EAD renewal

Our EAD 2008 is expiring in Oct and our AP is expiring in Feb 2009. I am aware that we do not require EAD for travelling to India. But my question is, Can we travel to india after applying for our EAD renewal. Will our travel effect EAD renewal process in any way? We are planning to visit India from Sep to Nov 2008. Please suggest!!

Assuming the EAD is for AOS pending, your travel will not impact the EAD.
