EAD (I765) and Travel Doc (I-130) processing time
Hello, This site has been so helpful to us so far!
My wife and I applied for my I485 and I140 together on April 25th, 2008 and still waiting on EAD/travel document (as of July10th). I applied in Texas SC and my receipt date was may 2nd. We already did our finger print on June 15th.
Q#1: How long it takes to get EAD approved these days in TSC?
Q#2: Does USCIS always update their website for a specific case number with approval notice before they send the EAD card via mail? Do they send it to my attorney (in the recept attorney's address is mentioned)
Q#3: If i do not receive it in 90 days (by Aug 2) then should I contact customer service?
My wife (currently on H-4) got a job and need to start by mid-august. So we really need to have her EAD done before that.
