  • EAD - Canada travel

    a) I am EAD now and have AP valid till Dec 2008.
    b) My mother is on Visitor Visa in USA

Can we (me, my wife and kids) take Canadian visa to visit Niagara ?
Can I take my mother also along wiht us?

IF any body had travelled Canada while on EAD, please respond?

    Yes, ...

... you and your family can apply for Canadian visitor visas to travel. You need to take your passport, AP, etc. when you travel.

You'll need to apply for a separate visitor visa for your mother, if she doesn't have one already.

It's easy and almost painless, don't worry too much.

I think you're asking the wrong question, EAD has nothing to do with your visa or travel, it's just a blanket work permit in the United States while your permanent residency application is in progress.

What you mean to ask is that you're traveling on Advance Parole.

    Good luck.
