Evidence for AP in case of AOS

Hi,

I have applied for i485 in July 2007 and am having I140 approved.

I am visiting India this Dec and need AP.

While filing for AP, do I need to show evidence or circumstances for them to give me AP?

I read that in case of AOS, you dont need any evidence.

Please confirm.

When you file for AOS (i-485) NO evidence is needed (or extra explanations) for AP.
