EAD Renewal

Just thought this information might be useful for some people.....

I have applied for my EAD renewal last month (reciept date july 24th) and yesterday I got status update saying Card is ordered and will recieve within 30 days. Petition was in Nebraska Service Center.

Yes, NSC has been very busy approving EADs very quickly. I have seen approvals come through in a week as well.

My EAD application receipt date is 12th June in NSC and it is still pending. Is this common that applications that have a much later reciept date can be processed earlier based on some other logic? I was under the impression that it is processed in the order of receipt.

i filed my EAD rewal last july 18, 2007. EAD expiring on Sep 26, 2007. will i still have to undergo a new BIOMETRICS/FINGERPRINTING if i already did it way back August 2007 after my petitioner filed my I-140 and I485 last July 2007?

I guess so.
I went to biometrics last year (May) and this year I'm renewing it and I was called to biometrics again.
BTW, following the thread, it's been 60 days since my application (Texas Service Center) and still haven't heard about my renewal...

was your first BIOMETRICS CODE 1 or CODE 3? mine was CODE 3.. whats the difference?
