Hi,
I am on H1B and my son is on H4. Our visas are valid till Nov 2010.
We have also applied for Adjustment of status (I-485) and have EAD and AP till Aug 2009.My son's I-94 is stamped showing his H4 status.
Now my son is applying for FAFSA(financial aid for college). For FAFSA eligibility he has to have his I-94 stamped as a Parolee. How can one chage status on I-94 ? Can it be done just by applying without leaving US or one has to go outside US (Mexico/Canada ?) and come back using AP?
Any suggestions/ advice will be appreciated.
