How long does it take to get EAD card?

Hi All,

Hope someone can help with this. I just mailed the forms, I-130/I-485/I-765 and they've been delivered to Chicago Lockbox on 8/20/2008. Just wondering if anyone has files these forms recently or knows how long it takes to get an EAD card. I'm currently on H-1B but want to look for a new job. So I'm anxious when I can start a job hunting. I've heard before that it takes about 2-3 months to get it after you filed, but not sure if it's true. I'd appreciate all answers and thank you in advance..

Applied for EAD/I-485 on July 12th

Hello All,

Me and my wife have applied for an EAD on July 12th 2010. I understand that the usal wait time is 3 months but I wanted to check if anyone else recieved their EAD sooner than 3 months? Please let me know
