Can I travel while holding an EAD

Hello,

My wife holds an EAD since couple of months and she is working in USA currently, the EAD will expire date is on 19 Jul 2009. Can she travel to india (for a short time) in between while holding the EAD?

You need AP. EAD is not for traveling is for working.
