  • L1A - i140 approved - EAD applied

Hello, am a valid L1A visa holder(5th year), working as Project Manager for a multinational here. my I140 has been approved and EAD was just applied (multinational Executive - EB1 Category).

Could you please let me know how much time it is going to take for its approval ? your help/replies are much appreciated.

Should be quick as soon as security checks are complete if the PD is current. Give 6 months.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

Nothing is immediate with USCIS. Even if PD is current, GC will take a good 6 months if there are no security check delays.

Thanks for your reply.my EAD/AoS/AP receipt date is OCT 29. I have been called for Fingerprinting on Nov 25.
Say if my AoS is pending and if my EAD gets approved, could you please let me know if i can change company ? i know, in reverse case, certainly you can.

          Thanks

I would not do it as it is L1A. Wait till you get the GC, work for 6 months after that and then you can leave if you wish. This is for your future. Talk to your lawyer as you don't seem to know much.
