EAD and H1 for sometime

Hi All,

Although there is similar question..my situation is diffrent. Can any help me with question.

I have got job offer from A company to hire me in mid nov. But I have to get vacation pay from my current employer so i am planning to resign my current employer after I get the amount which will be jan'09.

Continuing with my present employer on H1 and future employer on EAD..does that impact GC? Although i dont get paid from my present employer but I may get the vacation payment in dec'08. Please let me know.

I believe ...

... that once you use your EAD, your H1B is no longer valid.

It is okay to get paid after you leave your employer. Neither USCIS nor IRS has issues with it. If you use EAD, the same has to be used for all employers.
