EAD renew

I am on H1 status and my wife is on H4 and we have stammped visa till 2010.We also have an EAD which expired on 10/10/2008.My wife is not in USA and she dont have plans to come back for six months. Can I apply for extension of her EAD eventhough she is not in the country.

If you have an EAD and you work for a small consulting company, use the EAD and switch to a bigger better company before the economy goes into recession. Make money while there are still some jobs left in the market. There is no guarantee tomorrow. Also, apply for your wife's EAD as soon as she comes back.
