When will I have my EAD approved.

Hi,
I applied for I-485 along with I-765 on Aug 27th 2008 at Texas center.
I had gone for my Biometrics around October 1st week.When can I expect my EAD to be approved.Is the I-485 receipt is the EAD number as well.Normally how long does it take to get an EAD from the day you apply I-485.
Can anybody clarify me on this.

Usually 3 months.If you wait longer than three months you can call USCIS.
I got my EAD on Nov.14th.... applied for on Sep.5th with all other forms.

Marital Status after getting EAD - need help please

Hi,
I got my EAD.The issue is I am still single.Within how many months or years should I get married.Normally I heard that I should get married before I recive my GC.But how long is the process to get the GC after EAD.Is there any timeline so that I can include my spouse along with my GC.
Please help me on this.
