AP Query

Hi,

I have my advanced parole till 20th Jan 09 and I am traveling out of US in dec and will be back on Jan 2nd 2009 to US. I am taking my advanced parole with me. Also I have applied for I131 and it is still pending. Will that be a issue if I get my new Advance Parole while I am traveling?

anyone who can suggest, I see that my I131 for renewal got approved today.

As long as you get it approved before you leave you are good to go. As your prior AP is still valid, it is not at all an issue in your case. Someone can mail it to you assuming the dates are still good and no errors on the AP.

Thanks I received the renewal AP also before I travel next week.

The other question I had, I am carrying the AP along with my spouse I140 approved and mine and my spouse I1485 Pending notice. Is there anything else I need to carry apart from Passport and a couple of paystubs and offer letter from employer?

Last time I entered US I was on L1 Visa, now I will be coming on AP though my L1 is stamped till end of next yr.

Your 485 receipt. Why not enter on L1? That is always better if you are still working for them.

I changed employer and dont want to use my L1. Also do I just carry the copy of I485 receipt as my lawyers have the original.
