  • EAD/Green Card pending

Hi people - Can anyone tell me what is happening and why I don't get my green card for a long time? I have my EAD and I485 was approved last July, 07. My priority date is on March 06, 2006. That day never moves, never becomes current, I never hear anything from attorneys, immigration etc... I am lost...jobs are hectic, no freedom, no green card, nothing...i am frasturated of all these years now...Can anyone tell what is happening to us ? Can anyone hear us?

    Regards

Your 485 was probably filed in 07 not approved as per your statement. You are not alone in your frustration and there are plenty of people like you if that helps you reduce your pain

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.

Well, thanks - it wont reduce the [ain but getting sick and tired of this...after all these year we gave in this place, made our home...this is ridicilous...will Obama do something soon? I don't want to get old here as if we put ourselves in a prison...I am tired of not being free, so called "freedom" here, and being humiliated at the borders when you enter to US after seeing family etc in each travel...this is making me sick! I am not sure how much longer I can handle this...I will probably take my youth and knowledge work elsewhere likely Europe...This place seems going down with the attitudes that they have...I think Europe is much better now. What do you think?

Look, it is a matter of personal choice. If you don't like what is going on, no one is forcing you to stay. You still have the freedom to go back to the home country.

Obama is not going to do anything as of now as he has bigger fish to fry.
