EAD e-file renewal approved without biometrics

My apologies if this is a repeat question but I didn't find any prior posts for this specific scenario.

I e-filed EAD renewal for myself and spouse in Nov 2008 and mailed the required documents to USCIS. I was expecting a call for biometric test but in stead received the approved EAD this week. Is this fine or do I need to inquire with USCIS for the biometric test?

It is fine. It is up to them if they need a biometric or not.
