EAD Work Permit

Hello.

Currently I’m working on work permit in saint Louis in H&R Block company. My work permit started after I graduated Lindenwood University, Saint Charles MO on October 2008. I majored there in Finance and earned my Master’s degree. I have a question about work permit renewal, is it possible to extend my work permit? Or should I go with applying for H1 visa? My company agreed to sponsor me to get H1 visa. I just need some advise if that is possible.
