Hi,
I came to US initially on H4 and then got a H1B visa in 2006. I did not go outside of US after that and did not get the H1 stamped. in the meanwhile my husband got his EAD and he has been working on that from a year. I have continued to use my H1 till now. I am planning to shift to using my EAD..I am also going to India in June and had a couple of questions..
1. What is the process to be followed to inform my employer that I am changing my status to EAD from H1?
2. Do I need any other documents while travelling apart from the EAD card and AP documents?
3. Anything else I have to keep in mind while travelling since this is our first time travelling on AP..
