Hi,
I would like to know if a copy of current I-94 is required to be sent with AP renewal application. If it is required to be sent, is it ok to send a copy of expired I-94, as a new I-94 is expected to arrive after processing of pending I-129 H1B extension petition is completed by USCIS. The plan is to apply for AP renewal (as the AP from last year is expiring soon) without waiting for I-129 H1B renewal to come through as I-129 approval may take an unknown amount of time (the I-129 H1B extn is pending with Calif USCIS for last 3.5 months with no update on status).
