I am on H1b working for company B which I got extended to 3 yrs after my I 140 approved from company A.
Company A filed my H1b, Employment Authorisation and Advance parole for which I got EAD (2 yrs back).
Company B continued and extended Employement Authorisation and Advance parole process using AC 21 portability.
Now I got laid off from company B.
So at this time can I use my EAD status which I never used since I got EAD?
if so what the next thing I need to do.
Or do I need to apply H1 from other company? if so how soon?
Also Please let me know if I miss any.
