AP and I-94 expired

Am currently on a valid H1B. My wife is on Advance Parole. We came to US in December, 2008. Her AP expired in Oct 2009 and her I-94 expired in Dec 2009. I have the below queries.

1. Is it ok to apply for AP renewal now, since its delayed? Is there any time period before which I should apply?
2. Now if I renew her AP, will her I-94 get automatically renewed OR should I renew her I-94 also. In that case, is there any order in which I can renew her AP and I-94?

Please advise.

Thanks for the reply. I read the last paragraph from that page. However, it doesnt say anything about the expired I-94. Do I have to renew that also? or is it enough to renew AP alone? Please advise.
