Initial H4 EAD experience to help others

Hi All,

I would like to share my initial H4 EAD experience so that it would help someone.

I was not aware that H1, H4 visa extension and H4 EAD can be filled concurrently. So, I had filed my H4 EAD application separately while My spouse's H1 & my H4 extension were under processing.

Below is the timeline

1. On receipt of my husband's I140 approval notice, my husband's H1 extension and my H4 extensions were filed on 01-Nov-2018.
2. On receipt of our H1 & H4 visa extension receipt notice, I mailed my H4 EAD application and documents To USCIS, Phoenix as our extension were filed at California Service Center.
3. I entered my husband's H1 receipt notice # in my EAD application for question # 29 (H1 receipt no. which was under processing)
4. I have mailed my EAD Documents via Fedex on 19-Nov-2018
5. Documents delivered at USCIS on 21-Nov-2018
6. Amount deducted from Credit Card on 26-Nov-2018
7. Received SMS with Receipt # on 28-Nov-2018 (as i have opted for SMS and email notification via my USCIS Account)
8. Received Receipt Notice via post on 03-Dec-2018
9. Received Transfer notice via post on 20-Feb-2019 that case is transferred to Nebraska Service Center on 12-Feb-2019 since our H1 & H4 visa extensions transferred to NSC.
10. Husband's H1 & my H4 visa extension approved on 05-Mar-2019
11. My I765 Case Status moved to New Card Is Being Produced on 05-Apr-2019
12. Received EAD Approval Notice via post on 10-Apr-2019
13. Received EAD card on 13-Apr-2019
14. Since i haven't received my SSN, I called SSN call center on 17-Apr-2019 but they were unable to answer my queries.
15. I visited SSN office on 18-Apr-2019 and I was told that my SSN was generated yesterday and i would receive the card in 2 weeks (May be my SSN was generated after I had called SSN Call center).
16. Received my SSN via post on 22-Apr-2019
