Expidite Email from USCIS

Hello community!

I'm a Houston filer and i'm in the process of of an EAD renewal and its been way out of processing time and so i decided to give USCIS a call and i was able to get in contact with a TIER 2 officer and she was no help whatsoever all i was able to do was expedite my case which was on 04/23/3019. A couple of days later i received an email 04/29/2019 saying my case is under review and i will receive a decision shortly or notice of action. So my question is by shortly do they mean 1-2 weeks or in a couple of months? How long should i wait before i give them a call to check up on that email. Please share your experiences ! any advice helps as well!

I just got my EAD approved, but it's unclear whether it was due to 'severe financial loss' expedite or regular processing. It certainly wasn't based on outside of processing time although it was getting close.

In our case, our Service Request was responded to on 4/15 asking for documentation; 4/22 confirmed receipt of documentation; 4/29 card being produced. No mention of whether it was based on the Expedite Request.
